A Winnipeg couple charged in October with numerous offences, including killing or injuring animals and causing unnecessary suffering to an animal, are now facing more charges, including an allegation they intended to torture a child. On Nov. 25, Chad Kabecz, 40, and Irene Lima, 55, were rearrested and charged with more offences. The new charges against Lima include numerous counts related to bestiality, killing or injuring animals, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, and possession of proceeds of crime. Kabecz was charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and compelling bestiality.
